43rd Annual Catholic Charismatic Conference

The 43rd Annual Catholic Charismatic Conference is Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7-8, at St. Louis Catholic High School. Guest speakers are Deacon Larry Oney and Dr. Sheryl Jones. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with Prayer and Praise at 6 p.m. Father Emanuel Tanu, S.V.D., chaplain for Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Diocese of Lake Charles, will celebrate the Opening Mass at 8:30 p.m.

The opening general session begins following the liturgy with Deacon Oney speaking on “Your Divine Appointment.” Prayer teams will be available following all general sessions.

Registration re-opens on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with Prayer and Praise at 9:30 a.m.  A general session will begin at 10 a.m. with Deacon Oney speaking about “Divine Preparation.” Confessions will be available at 11 a.m. with a break for lunch from noon until 1:30 p.m.

Prayer and praise along with Word Gift and announcements take place from 1:30 to 2 p.m. followed by a testimony from Dr. Jones until 3 p.m. with more prayer and praise.

Deacon Oney will speak from 3:30 to 3:30 p.m. on “Your Divine Appointment.”

At 5 p.m.,  there is a break for supper followed at 6:30 p.m. with the closing mass celebration by Father Tanu and the final general session with the topic “Divine Battle and Victory.”  Following the final session, there will be a Prayers for Healing Service with Father Tanu and Deacon Oney.
